I would question whether this vehicle was originally registered as a quadricycle.
If it was it would have a maximum power of something like 22KW.
The Kawasaki would be putting out well in excess of this therefore it would no longer be a quadricycle.
I suspect it should be put through IVA to make it legal.

Did a bit of digging:

Normally has 38.5Kw but detuned to 15 Kw for EEC!

So def was a quadricycle - wonder if Z-Cars got it IVA'd????

I got my first bug buying a similar buggy made in China and it was very similar. It wouldnt surprise me if Dazon is a rebranded OEM buggy. The big manufacturer in China is called the xingling motorcycle company and they already have an EEC certificate of conformity when they come into the country as they are a production car. Once converted to BEC then I don't know the score there but I would just guess declare the engine change.

The bad news is that my drive shaft came out twice nearly losing the whole wheel/hub whilst driving. I had to sue the seller and took me 12 months to win and get my money back, Sorry about the big pic.. its hosted on photo bucket at that size

it amazes me how something like that can be road legal with all the open areas. especially when im sitting out in the workshop scraping the worlds smallest little lip of my back lights just to get through IVA.
