the avon does not use all of the sierra rear, thats the Cat. the avon only uses the diff and drive shafts and bearing carrier

Budget for more money than that. It costs a LOT more to build unless several things fall nicely into place. And I won't go into them here.
Just my own view from afar (very afar) but britishtrident and pat mangroove... are the ones to listen to here - not to take anything from the other
well meaning knowledgeable people on this thread.
