Where to buy MGB floor and boot panels for restoration?

Hi,
A friend of mine here in Hungary is restoring his MGB roadster. He is finding it impossible to find floor panels and a bootlid. MOSS doesn't have these on stock and can not source them apparently and he is not aware of any other suppliers.

You friendly lot here seem to be pretty knowledgeable on MGB's, too, so maybe you have some ideas... where could he buy these panels for his car?

Thanks for your help!
Gergely

i spent a lot of my hard earned with this outfit when i had MG,s,prices and delivery were very good, they also break cars so you should be able to get a boot lid

I used Mechspec, over the last couple of years whilst building my MGB.

Boot lid is very expensive, floors and the likes are quite reasonable....

Or you could try British Motor Heritage (Linky)

They have the original factory jigs for Minis, MGs, Triumphs, all sorts - from my Mini experience some of the aftermarket stuff isn't always the same pattern as the originals - bits from BMH should be (bear in mind tho, that even on the production line they weren't always straight - there was a guy on the mini line whose job it was to make the doors fit. With a rubber mallet.)

Odd that Moss didn't suggest them, but presumably they want your mate to keep calling them back till they can get some...
