Any Good?
Ebay Starter
on my weight saving journey i have come across this, considering that my starter is 2 starters bodged together, is it worth the investment?
I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

Lol it'll be virtually no lighter.
Why do you have two starters bodged together? Mine was always fine with the std pinto starter.
I hope you are taking out your comfy seats and fitting FG ones
And removing your carpet

Lol, the grps are about 3 kg each so half the weight of the cobras
Why the thoughts of weight saving Alex? Seriously? The biggest 2 weight savings you could get is swap the Pinto for a Duratec and fit 13"
rims.
The first would save you a good 40kg and the second around 10-15kg depending on the wheels.
You would have to do a lot of work in any other areas to save that much for the same money. 80% gain for 20% effort

Go on a diet, my car is 20kg lighter (as long as I'm driving) at no cost

burton power sell those edge ones (but for £183) I'm told you really only need them if you've got a high CR and your std. one can't
coupe
I got a very similar one from H&H but I didn't pay as much as that for it
(and its hardly any ligher at all btw)

p.s i don't have cobra seats, lol, i have dax squabs, very light, i'll have to weigh them
i have a new pinto coming, can't be bothered with the duratec change now, i just want to enjoy the car and im sure i'll do that with 200
horses, 176 torquey bits, a race spec box & and LSD
I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!
