Ooooh that's nasty. You wonder why they went to all the trouble of building it without bothering to get accurate plans made up.

Well, I suppose it's very vaguely GT40 shaped, and to be honest it's not *that* bad looking. If you squint a bit.
You aren't going to get anything like a decent GT40 replica for £6k anyway. I'd certainly rather drive this than the Beetle based
Countach replica I saw at Exeter a few years back.

I agree, if it wasn't called a gt40 replica and had it's own name nobody would be having this reaction, a replica, it is not, though

No ones's mentioned the fact the engine's in the back end. Which dutton chassis is that based on then?
If it's been chopped around enough to move the engine I doubt it's legal (unless it's had an SVA/IVA in its current configuration)
and is just another V5 donor job.

Hmmmmmm ...................... tell that to the DVLA & see how long you still have it registered!!!
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Indeed, 'back in the day' all you needed was an MOT to register a kit, it's never been legal to recycle V5's.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.
