Reversing sensors

Does anyone on here know anything about reversing sensors. Mine are constantly on once i select reverse. I have disconnected the sensors in turn and no affect. I also disconnected them all and they still produce the audiable tone. Any help appreciated

you've only disconnected the sensors, you need to disconnect the 'box' that's activated when you select reverse as its where the beep is coming from, if its an aftermarket set-up it'll be hanging of the rear lighting circuit.

Might help to know what car you have, some like the Audi A4 can be scanned by the right equipment

I'd expect that disconnecting sensors would cause the system to warn continuously - at least I'd design it like that as a failsafe.
