Not sure what an Atom weighs (not sure that only weighs 350kg either) but 170 (alleged) bhp on those tyres won't be scaring too many Atoms I'm thinking

Thats some reverse!

Mine is a cog that replaces the nut on the engine output and a starter motor.
Jeez, they could remove about another 20kg by taking all that lot off!

It also looks like it replaces the diff with two chain drives

Agreed a weird set-up at the back. No diff by the look of it. Maybe this was a way of getting a suitably short wheelbase

The statement "POSSIBILITY OF MAKING IT ROAD LEGAL" is tenuous at best.

Hint of the banana splits about it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hA2mrugzhwg

Just went to their website www.lamcars.com The guy leading it went to Bolton poly, looks like he is living the dream (pretty website though).

Bodywork reminds me of my brothers beach buggy he built in the 70s.

It also needs another seat.

Looks good

A bit of a bold statement given the Atom's credentials.
I like it though - nice to see something a bit different and I've often wondered how well a buggy body would fit on the likes of a Locost frame

Rear upper wishbones appear to have been fashioned from an old wire coathanger...
