2001 Astra steering rack swap
Daughter's just announced her husbands car has a fault on the steering rack, problem with self centering according to the MOT man, but its
passed anyway.
Anyone changed one, its a power rack, any gotchas or reasonably straight forward if time consuming and fiddly??

yeah if its the same as mine its pretty involved, mine was an electric motor assisted power steering pack, had to drop front subframe to do it
