The fastest you can go for £5k
I'm bored and I don't have five grand but what do you guys reckon is the fastest car you could get for that kind of money?

The gts t skyline are not that fast only do 1/4 mile in about 14 secs if well driven !

For 5k you could build a custom drag racer and get sub 10's i reckon.
Probably wouldnt be to any spec, but as a RWYB i reckon you could make something pretty quick if it was a pure racer.

I second this vote as the RX7 has a very low Cd, 50-50 weight balance and decent brakes. Buy an auto and you'd have £2000 left over to make some
mods to make it even quicker. Has the better final ratio in the diff if top speed was your aim.

Hill climbs and sprints type stuff is what I had in mind. That and twisty B road stuff. That kind of fast.
