MIL On - Code 1490
Hi
I'm having trouble diagnosing a MIL indicated fault on my S2 Elise, (1.8 K Series). The OBD code reported through my U581 reader is P1490 but
this code is not referenced in the Lotus workshop manual. A search of the web came up with 'secondary air relief solenoid circuit
malfunction' from a list on an MG Rover forum, is this relevant in my case? The MIL light will stay off once reset until I start the car from
warm, it then comes on after about five seconds. Can anyone offer any guideance as to where to start looking please?

Hi
Brilliant thanks - now chasing down the VVC route, any idea why the light only comes on when starting from warm?
