Tiger ERA HSS...

Anyone ever seen one of these made road-legal? Would be a hoot, but the exposed back-end would be an IVA nightmare!

unfortunately it's not going to look much like that after it's been made IVA friendly

shame as you would lose most of the lure of the car - where would you mount the headlights and mirrors

The 'flying pickle' (Formula Vee in the pic) has been for sale for a while. It's looks are a little... erm... unfortunate!

I can't quite get the point of the ERA.

It looks sort of like a 60s Lotus only i) not anything like as pretty and ii) it isn't one.

As a single seater, it has no real purpose. Can't be used as a historic, not competive against modern opposition.

As a road car ?

Don't know, but can't see it myself.

I reckon a Sylva Riot would be a more usefull thing on both road and track.

He was originally trying to set up a one make series for it wasn't he?

But I'd have to agree about the Sylva being more useful. Indeed the ERA30 (Lotus 23 ish car) would be a better choice for most things though they are rather expensive at £18k (everything included kit)
