Top Gear
At 9:30 tonight. The 3 Amigos buy a TVR, Lotus and Jensen-Healey and visit the areas they were made in. Hope they dont undo all last weeks good work
and smash the cars to bits by running into Captain Extremely Fast. And whilst I am on it, if the Clarkson bloke was telling porkies and that Jedwood
thing IS on tonight I will personally string him up!

As annoying as it is, that's what iPlayer and DVD recorders are for. It's true though. There's nothing on all week then 2 things
at once.

We watched the first episode of Sherlock on iplayer - via the Nintendo Wii - last night.
Superb. Much better than watching on the computer.
Ordinarily, I would have sky plused it, but that broke and we're waiting on a new one coming.

So firstly how come Ferrari don't have to have a permanent speedo
and surely, surely it isn't THAT much faster than a 430 !!!

Dont get me wrong, I will still watch Top Gear but I am worried that if they dont write a new script instead of using the same one for every show,
then Auntie BEEB will can it. Of course, we didnt realise that the Mk 3 Escort would exit the car wash full of water, so a new angle there I
suppose!!! Light entertainment? Getting ever so Sh*te entertainment if it goes on that way then what will car nuts have on the box?

it actually did. it was on the left hand screen, as a number rather than a dial. thing is, it read mph, and the dial read kph. when he said he
didn't know what speed he was doing on the runway, it was 133mph

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I didn't realise that older British sports cars had so many 'safety features'

When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

Intresting that they declared British Sports cars dead at a time when Kit cars seem to be booming.
The BBC quite often put Topgear up against major shows on BBC1 and move it for stuff with much lower viewing figures (Any one watch Bowls
championships when it was on?). Its often put up against strictly come dancing. No one ever explains why they do this as TG is the most watched
Program on BBC2.

Yea but it disappeared when using the sat nav how did they get away with that
I stand corrected ;) \/ \/ \/

as above, only the dial on the right hand screen disapeared. The digital Speedo was still there on the left hand screen.
