DVLA modded car points system, question?

Right then, I've been thinking about something, after finding something on Google, while looking up info on my 1940's Dodge WC62 6x6 project.

I know about the DVLA, points system for modded cars, but is there anything in it about the orientation of the original parts?

This is the reason for the question:
This Hot Rod:

It started life as 1 of these:

They have used most of the original drivetrain, they got it this low by unbolting the springs from the hangers, then flipping the chassis over and re-bolting it under the axles. Giving 3" of ground clearance, but non of these parts have been altered, just re-arranged, so would the DVLA class this as original, or modified? :think:

(Can you see what I'm planning...)

The vehicle must score eight or more points to retain the original registration mark.
•chassis or body shell (body and chassis as one unit - monocoque ie direct replacement from the manufacturer) (original or new) = 5 points
•suspension = 2 points
•axles = 2 points
•transmission = 2 points
•steering assembly = 2 points
•engine = 1 point

So I assume you would have:

Chassis = 5
Engine = 1

And then just need 1 of the following.

Steering =2
Axles = 2
Transmission =2
Suspension =2

At a guess I would suggest the axles will remain the same? just their mounting moved to suit new suspension?

Alternatively, just dont tell them, there are 101 highly moddified cars out there that would raise an eyebrow if DVLA knew, but no one seems to care

Actually, it uses all the original steering, suspension, axles, transmission, engine, and chassis.

Only the cab would change, the only other real change is, the chassis is under the axles, but unaltered, just repositioned.

So, i think it still scores 14 points.

I'm thinking of building 1 similar, seeing as I have a 1943 Dodge wc62 6x6 weapons carrier, I was planning to restore...
