tyres for tin top
what should I get for my Saab 9-5?
Running Michelin primacys - I got a puncture a while back and had to replace 1 front tyre when they were only a few thousand miles old now the
original one needs replacement but the replacement for the punctured one still has about 4mm tread.
Do I get another single Michelin for £120 or a pair of Nankangs or Falkens for similar money? the car does about 3000 miles a year. and I might not
keep it for too long.
Advice anyone?
Cheers

Nankangs arent bad, people always seem to look at same brand tyres on same axles
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

No spare tyre I guess.
In my bangernomics days I used to buy pre-worn tyres.
Supposedly shipped in from Germany where their rules require all 4 tyres to be changed together (leaving some very unworn). Very cost effective and
never gave me any trouble. Ideal if you aren't keeping it for very long.

And if you've ever bought a used car ( a fair bet for most people I would have thought ) then you've bought second hand tyres.

I've got Falkens on the Manta ze-502's I like 'em
You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

I've fitted Falkens to most of my tin tops over the years..not always the ones to last the longest, but normally grippy and half the cost of the
big names....

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I still do at a place that fits them for £30. You don't necessarily save money on fitting budget brand tyres but you can get major brand tyres
for less.
