What a COOL machine

Just had to post this. I love the exposed springs on the seats but the rest is magic and so nicely done.

seems like a lot of money for a beetle missing front and rear wings.

should i ask if he will include the wings that were removed in the sale?

This is really worrying - I hate Beetles, but actually quite like that! I think I need to see a shrink!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I like it too... I think I might change the rear lights and add some rear cycle wings for my taste, but other than that it's a a good "clean" look.

Dunno what it would drive like, though. The only time I drove a Beetle I was scared witless by the light as a feather front end and heavy rear, especially going round roundabouts! Maybe the repositioned front axle and lowered front would help with cornering stability?

In my experience, being in a Beetle is like being in an oven strapped to a washing machine.

I'd much rather have one that wasn't missing pieces and was road legal.

Morcus, care to elaborate on this " like being in an oven strapped to a washing machine" thing. Is it legal? Sounds perverted to me. When was the last time you did it. Go on tell us. Any pictures?

Like

I like it, I would like to look at it and chat too the builder but it’s not my thing to own.

Each to their own and all that.

I see lots of interesting cars, does not mean I would want to own them though.

I mean just look at mine.......

Yours is a lot safer now you've changed those front wings James No one now is in danger of loosing their legs.

ATB Dan.

Oh yes, Love the beetle.

The less I worked, the more i liked it.
