Best garage floor covering

As title options are floor paint, carpet tiles or the interlocking rubber/foam floor tiles.
Got a floor space of around 20 foot by 10.

I would use paint, quick, easy to paint, not too expensive, cleans easy and you can touch up if you need to.

used conveyor belt is good and can be sourced quite cheaply. easy to clean and a lot warmer than laying on a concrete floor

Painted concrete. Be careful of using anything like carpet that can burn if you're doing any welding etc.

Two part epoxy paint, been on the whole time of the Locost project, still looks good. Not worried about cold floor, it's heated.

The carpet has the best fire rating possible it will not set on fire it just melts it has to have this for commercial buildings.

I've just painted mine but this carpet sounds good to warm it up. What size area did you cover for £150? Mines a double. Interested to see how it compares to the foam tiles. The tiles do compress and come apart when I've used them in the past

wool carpet. All of the old carpets from the house go on the garage floor for a few years until they go to the tip.
Won't burn, soaks up oil, warm and comfortable, bugger to get sawdust off it though

Rubber matting as used for stable floors. Made from recycled tyres and very good for kneeling on for hours on end! I did 19' x 12' for about £140 from eBay.

Paint the floor to stop the dust and then cover with cheap carpet for warmth. Any sawdust & metal filings etc. can then be cleaned up with a vacuum cleaner and when the carpet gets stained, just replace it.

8x2 T&G moisture resistant MDF is good, give you a smooth surface and better heat insulation than anything mentioned so far. The tongue and groove keeps it locked and stops any raised edges.

Used to cost about £6 a sheet from Wickes. You would need 7 or 8 sheets
