Options to sell my old Mgb E bay or auto trader etc?
I have got to get rid of my old MGB gt that is suitable for spares or a rebuild , or most probably a reg donor as it is tax exempt and ideal for
someone doing a chrome bumper conversion.
I have just looked on E bay and it seems as if the fees will be about £40 even if i only get £300 for it but it does seem the best option to advertise
it to get to people looking for that type of car, I am also considering Auto trader and think that will only cost about £10 but may not get the
response i want.
Is there any other options to get a good response?MG forums etc that anyone knows of?.

Gumtree is pretty good and free, also put it on the MG owners forum.
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

I sold my webers on piston heads. Even more time wasters than ebay if thats posable but they did sell and without the costs and stupid feedback of
ebay.

I believe you can place free Ads on http://www.carandclassic.com, so it might be worth a look.

Agree that some of th efree sites are very good.
But ebay can be good too. I have sold a few cars over the years using the "classifieds" adverts. I think it was £12 if it is under £1000
(or something similar) and does reach a wide audience.
Still, give the freebies a try first!
