Volvo XC90 TV retro fit?
SWMBO has just bought an XC90 as our main car (my car is too long in the tooth to go very far!).
It has the family pack which is screens in the headrests and a DVD player. Also some inputs plugs for game consoles and stuff.
Does anyone know if you can buy a cheap TV reciever or freeview thingy so the kids can use it to watch TV?
Volvo will sell me one, for £1,100!!

I bought a 7" screen with built in freeview reciever. It has video out and a remote aerial.
I got it from Maplins for about £100
I use it in the car

if you dvd pujadr or ice system already has inputs then it is ok. You can buy for about 50 or less a stand alone 12v tv tuner. This can be wired in
and give you good reception. I cant help with suppliers but i would be able to advice plugging it in. I did alot of work on xc90 when they first come
out over 5 years ago.
good luck.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

There are hundreds of DVB-T tuners on eBay for under £50 that will plug in where the games console leads are.
Try this: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=freeview+car+tuner&_sacat=See-All-Categories
