I Passed!
Not not the IVA!!
Passed my module 2 today in the pouring rain! I was 100% certain I had failed as I put my right foot down at a junction and got my PSM muddled up
countless times so was astounded when I got back and he said I had passed with no minors!
Got a few things to do on the ZX6R over the next month or so whilst I save up for my gear/helmet/tax/insurance etc so expect to see me on the ride
whenever we get a dry day!!
Im off now to thaw/dry out

Ive got a 1998 F3 - an old banger really but its only done 15k and looks like its been looked after! I am expecting to come off it at some point so Id
rather leave the expensive stuff till a few year down the line!
Cheers

na you won't come off if you are sensible and give the bike respect!
the first two years i rode through the winter which i think made me a better rider, but god did the -5 mornings hurt!

Well done, I remember it was horsing down when I did my part 1 (as it was then) and snowing on the part two, the examiner hid in a shop doorway for
the duration of the test!
Happy days

Congrats! Another biker into the fold!
Take it easy this time of year, leaves, mud, drain covers and water are fookin' slippery on a bike. 600's are very quick in comparison to
the 500 you'll have learnt on too.
Save up for the absolute best gear you can afford. I recommend Hein Gericke goretex textiles for winter riding as leathers arent generally waterproof
or as warm. Then get some leathers next summer if thats what you want.

congats Shaun!! As some of the others have said, be careful if you are out at this time of the year.
ride safe and stay shiny side up!
We gain knowledge faster than we do wisdom!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"

Job well done, Shaun! Give us a yell if you're riding out between the Peak, Wales & N. Yorks.
You thinking about attending a Bikesafe session? I'm considering one before next spring - hopefully to
tidy up my riding and get some more road-reading experience. Anything that keeps the rubber side down and reduces the insurance premiums!

Thanks for the replies!
CBT was £95
Theory was £32
Mod 1 + 2 + 2 1/2 days for training was £500 - I had a free retest included in this too - not that I needed it.
All the prices included clothing/helmet and use of the bike.
Shaun
I struggled on my CBT more than the other test as it was the first time i had been on a bike!
Other than that it was quite easy as I already new the rules of the road, it was just a case of getting into the metality of a biker I had to
overcome.
