Google Sketchup help

Trying to draw some parts in google sketchup.

I want to draw a circular part a bit like a valve stem. I can draw the stem, i can draw the valve. What i can't do is figure out how i draw the angled bit between the two.

Attempt at ascii art ....

.|xx|
./xxx\
|xxxx|

(ignore the '.' its just my attempt at getting the ascii drawing to line up).

My problem is the / and \ bit of the drawing.

Can anyone help?

Draw a circle @ one of the radius you need, extrude it up to the height you require, then right click one of the circles, go to the entity info and amend to the smaller or larger radius/diameter you need to create the 'cone' shape you need
