Shogun Di - D SWB - Any Good ??

Come the turn of the year Im offloading my Saab Coupe & Lada for something 4x4/swb

Want something modern ish, diesel, and capable of towing a small trailer, winter hack etc.

Suzukis are catching my eye, as are the Freelander TD4s

However I do like the look of the Shogun swb Di-D about 2005/2007 ish...

Combined mpg is apparently 30mpg , maybe slightly more, I dont want to be putting up with 25mpg or less.

Anyone got one, like them or use them ???

All feedback welcome

I dont think the Ebay one is a diesel. Suspect with a petrol auto you would struggle to get 20 mpg if you do much town driving. We've just got a Landcruiser diesel auto and struggle to get much over 25mpg. Shogun's are not well known for their low consumption!

I think Coozer is wanting rid of his shogun, maybe after the winter though, but I reckon make him an offer and he'll be tempted as he needs some space!!

Cheers

Yep, mine's up for grabs. Its an 02 2.5tdi and returns me about 28ish mpg I reckon. 5 speed manual.

Its LWB however but this has a higher towing limit than the shorties and is going cheep cheep...

Any good?
