Posting a bumper
I've sold a bumper on ebay but it's too large for all the usual courier services at 1.7m long.
Has anyone sucessfully posted something large (and light) with any other courier service?

I have sent something over the Royal Mail limit of 1.7m.
I think it was HDL Home Delivery Network or something, booked through parcel2go

had this with a towbar, which was suppsedly too long for the couriers , can you put it diagonally in a wider box? which in effect increase the width
but decreases the length?

I had this problem with my local post office, and had to go into town to the main PO,
It wasnt a problem there and my large parcel was 2m long by 60x60 mm
very light though !! it was a large RC plane i sold on ebay

You could try www.shiply.com
Recent thread on here, I used them to get an engine to me. The system worked well.

Looks like I might have some sucess - a bumper is surprisingly flexable so it can become smaller
