OT - Discovery 3 EGR valves
does anyone know anything about these its an 07 reg disco and aparently there are 2 kinds of valve
help!!

If it is a V6 Diesel there are two valves and they are the devils work to replace

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

I paid £90 to have the EGR valve replaced in my Pajero a couple of years ago. Since found out that most owners remove and blank off when they fail, a
lot cheaper.

its my dads car, he had one done under the warranty just before it ran out now the other ones acting up
he's seriously thinking about blanking them off, but can't find any good detailed info - and its made twice as hard becuasse his one is at
the age were they changed the design apparently - so there are 2 kinds it could be....

On my disco 2 I blanked ehaust link to the ERG and got a special input pipe that allowed the ERG to be thrown away.
Stops all the CRAP going into the vales and turbo
Scot's do it better in Kilts.
