Finally got my car back today

Well i got my car back from Powerspeed today. I've got to say that the service from both Dave and Andy was fantastic, James who made the exhaust was brilliant and did an excellent job on my new 4-2-1 system! Oh and ignore that hole in the side panel, this was from the old exhaust.

All the best

Alex

thanks for all the comments guys, i'm very happy to have it back so i can crack on with getting it up and running. Hopefully get the rollers books for early april.

Andy: its a full race spec pinto, 93mm bore, acrylite pistons, steel rods and cossie crank, 3kg billet ali flywheel with steel insert. race head with 44 inlets and 38 outlets, professionally ported with Jenvey bodies and custom carbon trumpets & backplate. the engine was rollered at 206 bhp but we have put a bigger cam (longer duration) since the engine went into my car, so it will be interesting to see what she makes. it runs a close ratio quaife clubman box with 3.62 LSD.

i'll post more updates in the next couple of weeks and hopefully there will be a start up video in there somewhere!

All the best guys

Alex

I didn't build up this engine Rob, i think they are Farndon rods, i'd have to ask the chap who built it, but i know he pretty much buys everything from Burton, lol

I took the 'cut price' option and fitted std. cossie rods - only problem is they are 0.060" too long for a pinto - so I had to get my brand new pistons topped to suit
