What did people think of the first qualifying day of the year ?
looks like tyres will play a big part in the race

Replay of last year with a few more variables, first 5 are still the same Schumacher is still 11th ;-)

And the adjustable rear wings , Sutil lifted off the downforce a tad too short out of the exit - how close....



i enjoyed it , although Im off to harewood in the morning so wont see all of it.

Really enjoyed it, sky plussed it and watched it at a decent time(from about 9am). Both misses and me lay in bed going "ooh, so glad f1 is back", "did you see that" etc and thinking this is going to be an interesting few races while people get used to the new variables.

Plan on doing the same tomorrow

I'm kinda glad I'm on nights this weekend, I get paid for an extra hour that doesn't exist and home intime to watch the race and I can drink whilst I'm watching it because I'm sleeping afterwards.

I'm still thinking Button for this year.

I don't think so. those tyres are going to go off very quickly no matter how smooth you are, then you're left with a slithery, slidey thing underneath you, Button has never liked a car like that. If testing results actually play out in the races I can't see him doing well. There again that is testing.
