That is a great looking car.

Would phoenix body fit onto a locost chassis?

Don't think so. It does fit on a Striker chassis though.

Very nice indeed, what is it?

I take it the middle mirror is there to satisfy SVA man and might fall off later on?

The middle mirror is a Spa Design sportscar mirror ....if it falls off I'll be gutted (and not able to see behind very well). It was registered in 1996 so it didn't need to go through IVA...

It is a Sylva Phoenix with a 2lt Zetec in it.

Actually looking at it from the front again it doesn't stick up as much as I thought. Also with the Lotus badge I was half expecting to be told it was a 6 or something...

I shall have to look up the kit

Raw now have the rights to it...

http://www.striker-cars.co.uk/phoenix/

And the badge is a Sylva one not a Lotus.

I had the mirror stem extended because I couldn't see under it in the direction of the front nearside wheel. I can now see under it and it has a great view behind.

here a "real" phoenix....the original style and design...i like the "waisted" shape...which was lost when the fury came:
