If I recall correctly the originals were available as a customer car. 1/4 million pounds for the chassis and 1/4mill for the engine and box.
I vividly remember leaning out of the resterant window on the Mussane, just a pavements width from the track, watching Derek Bell hovering in the heat
haze, then fly by at 250mph (no chicanes then) followed at a distance by the noise... oh the NOISE!

Blimey that is rather tasty, short houses like me would never get in though with out some kind of bridge/ladderey device...
