What windscreen ......

.... will fit a Striker of mid 1990's vintage?

At the moment I've just an aero screen on there but I'm sick of the crap off the road smashing into my boat race! What screens should I search for on ebay? The Striker is quite a narrow car so I've no idea if a Westfield, Caterham or other will fit? What about wipers, do I need them (MOT concerns excluded) or can I just use Rain X? If I don't need wipers, I'll just refit the aero screen for MOT each year!

Anyone got a suitable one for sale?

for the MOT you require wipers and screen wash if you can not see over the screen or if you can't it should be able to fold flat (like a jeep etc)

tbh your probably better doing a fixed screen with wipers and demist as if you get cought in the rain while on a motorway etc driving blind is not much fun and if the police spot you well...

I like rainx but it's not a legal wiper replacement

I thought the striker screen was unique to the striker ......

I don't know the screen choice but you might get an answer on theSylva list or JPSC forum.

You really need wipers; If you use just Rain-X it's not great at low speed and tends to just form a mist on the screen like light drizzel.

Funny I have had none of that sort of issue with Rain X

I've just been on the JPSC forum and gutted as I missed one the other day!

Maybe I just drive too slow.

Have you tried RAW?

If you drive without wipers there is a huge possibility that the police will see you and do something about it, and they could decide your vehicle is unsafe and seize it.

So I'm convinced on the requirement for wipers, what about where to get the windscreen from?

Thanks!
