There is definitely still more straight line speed from the turbo cars so I think Plato has got a point. He's just not very good at getting it
across without sounding like a sulky child.
I thought one of the other comical moments was Paul O'Neill out-braking himself, particularly when in the pre-start chats he was introduced as
the local boy who knows the circuit and is in fact a race instructor at Oulton. If you pay for tuition at Oulton remember to take a few metres off any
braking points advice you are given.
