RoSPA: This may be contradicting their mission statement?

OK, so I'm browsing the RoSPA website looking for information on their driver training courses, I come across this image.



Yes, it's simply been flipped through the vertical plane, but made me chuckle.

So it seems ok to run through a checklist, talk face-to-face to a passenger and keep your eyes well off the road, whilst approaching a corner at top speed, bouncing off the rev limiter... Maybe I should look at AIM instead?

It makes sense to me - when I'm going flat out I tend to look over my shoulder or in my mirrors a lot more than looking forward (that view is far too scary anyway )

you have to have a real good look back up every entry slip road to make sure no cops are pulling on behind you
