EBAY seller beware!
Evening all
Whilst trying to find a car for my sister inlaw, this nice little runner was spotted.
A couple of one word replies to our questions from the seller via ebay we had a contact number!
When contacted today and asked if the car was hpi clear, in a snappy reply
he said ""go find another car and slammed down the phone.""
After looking at his other items for sale i thought I would give him the benefit of doubt, should of known.
How these people maintain good feedback is beyond me! just shows good feedback means jack.

Clearly a want to be dealer, needs to learn English, and then how to write an advert, best staying well clear.

Regular readers will know of my tendancy to avoid badly written advertisements. Yes, it's not an absolute guide, but with so many cars for sale
at the moment (agreed, most are at nonsense 'values' there's so much choice, move on.
I particularly like words like 'hydrolic', 'breaks' - and (as in here) that reference to 'bargin'. I also smile at
extensive reference to a scratch on the bodywork, with no picture or reference to things such as engines.....
I STILL (really do) have my 2.5NA 1996 Transit MK5 for sale, no time for mot, but will pass next mot easy. Has rusty arches easy fix, but I wonna be
as honest as I can. Only 276,000 mils very low 4 yr on sorn. Bargin £6500. No silly offers or dreamers.

Do people really buy things from adverts that badly written? It made hardly any sense at all and is the boot handle supposed to be a completely
different colour to everything else on the car? That said, where else will you get a CD player that does 44mpg?

If your tring to sell it for the best price in an open market why would you make so little effort to craft the add ?
and I really don't understand the "I'll add some pic later" - why not wait till you have some good pics then try and sell it ?

Interestingly on the HPI front, they're now offering protection against 'log book' loans. You have to follow their rules (I
don't know if that involves a specific contract of sale).
My wife is thinking of getting a Lancer Ralliart (240bhp, twin clutch, comedy value) and there are a few low mileage private sales in the correct
colour. However we wouldn't touch a private sale unless we had the cover in place.

Nearly just poo'd myself laughing at the MG6 adverts, although I still can't work out if they like it or not

He's also trying to pass himself off as a private seller ("just bought brand new car so selling as no longer needed" when a quick
look at his other items shows he's clearly a car dealer. Just another cretin amongst the thousands of others on eBay.
