Grrrr..... (Tin-Top problems)
why is it that every year about 1 month before the MOT something goes wrong 
its MOT's due next month and its due a service
now I knew it needed the handbrake adjusted and an exhaust hanger fixed - but now its gone and developed another vac. leak and the coolant leval has
dropped quite suddenly again
the vac. leak is anoying, but the coolant is a bit worring 
[its a mk1 focus, 1.8 blacktop zetec]
it had an overheating issue before, but it seemed to cure itself  (at least I couldn't make it happen again)
mind you I was never actually sure if the fan was working or not, but the temp guage has behaved itself for the last 3 months or so...
its also had a nice oily patch coming from somewhere around the waterpump - but its been like that for years and all seems ok otherwise
(although it could be the powersteering or the cam cover - its hard to see it clearly) it does use a little oil in the last year or two but nothting
to worry about yet
any thoughts ?
I'm tempteed to just get another one, but I really could do with it lasting another year (or two) to get some more funds together first
anyone here got a cheep little car for sale ?
