GAZ shocks - refurb or not?
I've got a set of GAZ shocks going spare in the garage. They probably need to be sold on or tossed out.
The dilemma I have is that they'll need a refurb as a couple are leaking and the bump stops need to be replaced. The refurb cost is £25+VAT
each plus £11.25 p&p if I send them to GAZ. That's c£133 for the repairs. Gulp!
So, will I get my money back when/if I come to sell them or should I toss them out? Whats the going rate for 4 refurbed GAZ shocks (without springs)?

Gaz shocks are about 400 with springs, the springs can be picked up on eBay at a sensible price! Are they adjustable? Have a look at these I found as
an example. I'd be interested as they are & at the right price to save them from the skip. item no. is 321110134821 sorry not sure how to
add links yet!
Thanks

Yes, they are adjustable and look like the ones on eBay. However, I've got all 4 setup for a Seven type kit.
Looks like it might be worth investing in the refurb. Looks like I might get £250 once they are back like new but happy to take offers as they are.

Hi Worzey
Shocks arrived today, well packaged, so glad we could come up with a deal, would've been wrong to skip them & it's gonna move my build
on a lot quicker than saving for a new set!
I hope to deal with many more good honest people like yourself through the forums, beats eBay hands down.
Thanks again mate,
Aaron
