locked out radio on peugot 206
Daughter has managed to lock the radio out by keying in the wrong number. I was once told how to reset this but cant remember the full detail. If
memory serves me right leaving the ignition switched on for a given period unlocks the radio and allows you another attempt or two at the code.
Any one give me the full details on what I need to do ie is it the full ignition on all lights on das and how long do I leave it powered up before i
get chance to enter another code

I feel your pain, Radio codes are such a pain in the arse, especially when it's on a radio with the screen fixed to the car seperatly.
The Vauxhall one had the info in the book that comes with the car, and every wrong attempt locked it out for increasingly longer periods of time so my
first though would be leave it a few hours and have another go.

IME its just a matter of leaving the ignition off for anything around half hour or so.

audi's lock the stereo for about an hour if you put the wrong number in, but this is an hour with ignition ON!
don't know about peugeot, but might be similar?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
