Paddock Shelter - Clarke any good??

So many of these pop-up shelters out there now, from Hamilton quality downwards.
Having dismissed the Aldi one due to the experience of others (my thanks), has anyone anything to say about the Clarke? It's less than half the price of a Hamilton, it's fabricated from steel (unlike many of the very expensive alloy models) which puts it very much in the higher end of the shelter spectrum. I'm sitting on a VAT free code at the moment, so it may be less unaffordable than it would otherwsied be.

Has anyone bought one, what do you think?

I had a similiar 3m x 3m pop up gazebo for car shows and they are very good. However, and its not the metal supports that you have to worry about, but actually the plastic hinges (shown as black in the picture). If you don't anchor all the feet plus guide ropes then in strong winds the frame will twist and rip the plactic hinges as they are simply pop-rivted on.

We got a 2.4m pop up one from Tesco a couple of weeks ago for £31.50. The metalwork is aluminium and it seems sturdy enough with the guys rigged so if it's big enough it might be worth looking at. Here's a link.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
