MOT failure website

i seem to have seen somewhere a site where you can check if a car has failed the MOT and what it failed on,any ideas oh clever people ?

thanks but already been there,you need the MOT number,i am going to look at a car and am suspicious as to why it has no MOT

You can pull up the entire history of a modern vehicle with all of the passes/ fails and advisories. No good 0for classic cars0 where early history can lack lots of detail. I think you need some detasils off front of V5c but you can check by doing one of your own cars first, details are on MOT certificats

Thats the only way available to the general public. Not sure if a friendly mot station would assist?

You can use the v5c number, so if you have a smart phone check whike you view?
