Any one care to explain how he managed to break that box considering it was wet and his shifts were fine?
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

I 'think' the gearbox popped just before the last shift, it starts rattling then he backs off and drops the clutch. Too much power for the
box?

300ftlb's through an MX5 5 speed gearbox will do it.
I know of a few people running turbo mx5's with 300-350bhp and similar torque who go through 2 or 3 boxes a year. The 6 speed is a lot better
but over 350bhp doesn't last for ever.
