I almost did something but never even used a tool in anger in the end
Whats that in the sky, sun, dry ground, free time? Quick get out and uncover the car I have stuff to get done!!
Right. First thing to do is bleed the brakes, I have a helper to hand (neighbour) lets crack on.
"what size spanner for the calliper nipple?"
"7mm. Er nope. 6mm. Er nope. Do you have a 6.5mm?"
"An imperial 1/4", I only have metric"
THE END!
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Hmm I emptied the garage to start and have a sort out then the heavens opened so I slung it all back in quick.
The sky's cleared so I tried again. I got the lathe of the trolly I made for it to move house. The heavens opened again so it all was lobbed
back in. The end

Me and the other half took a trip to North Wales, Shrewsbury, Corwen, Bala, Dolgellau.
140 miles, a bit cold, saw some sun, a little snow and just missed a downpour!
First decent blast for a couple of months.

I went for a drive!
The car has sat untouched for the winter despite my upgrade plans.
Still, it started first touch and drove perfectly.
Could do with fitting the heater I bought last year though.

Been there, couldn't find the 1/4" flare spanner. Out came the file and a new Beta 7mm spanner.
Still haven't replaced it, that must have been 8 years ago.

I cut tiles to make a "skirting" around the bathroom floor.
I have worked on the car in the garage for a short while a few nights this week though. Pedal box cover off, larger clutch quadrant so that I no
longer need to push it so far, rivnuts in so that removing the cover no longer requires me to insert my son upside down into the footwell to hold the
nuts while I remove the screws - as an aside, I used to be able to get into the footwell myself, but no longer Cover back on and a bit of a wiring
tidy up too.

I've done the same thing in the past but I started with a 6mm spanner.
