Scrapping a car
Well I stripped my old mr2 and sold the bits off.. I have the chassis left and I want to scrap the car... Problem is I can't put my hands on the
V5. Anyone got any advice of how to proceed and if it is possible without the V5..

Assuming you've got a local scrapyard that'll take it as a shell without ID, then it's easy as you just send a letter to the DVLA
saying "To whom it may concerned, I no longer have vehicle ABC 123 X, 1999 Silver Toyota Corrolla as it has been permanently disposed of"
(or something to that effect) and sign it with your address (matching the V5).
If you're struggling for anyone to take a shell, then you'll just have to chop it up yourself and take the bits to a scrapyard/council
tip.
I've got rid of a number of body shells like that when stripping them for donors etc.

If you want rid, place it on your drive with a sign:for saleŁ 300 ono.
The sign guarantees the pikies will have it within a week.
