Car Prices in UK - discount at main dealers?
I will soon be re-locating back to the UK, after 5 great years in South Africa, we will be living in Dorset this time not Aberdeenshire.
One of the many things to sort out once we arrive, will be a car each for Wife and myself. A used VW Golf and a Passat estate, medium spec, manual,
approx 2 yrs old and from the local VW dealer in Poole/Bournemouth area. We won't have time to seach about and look at lots of cars so getting
them from one place will be simplest.
My question is..... How much discount should I hope to get these days off the windscreen price at a VW dealer? Would buying 2 cars from the same place
give us a bigger %age discount?
It's gonna be a big change moving back to Blighty, I still have my MAC#1 locked away in a garage in scotland, so getting it moved to Dorset and
running again will be another project, and one I am looking forward to!

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

If you sway to Ford, then let me know, as my mate manages the largest branch in Southampton....
I would expect 10% off the windscreen price, but in reality, it will change from care to car. Best bet is to get a copy of Glass's guide and use
that to help you understand the value that the dealer is using to price his fleet.

OK thanks for the Ford offer. 10% discount is about what I was expecting. We'll see when the time comes.
