Problem with car part from ebay
I smashed the mirror in my drivers side, so I thought I would get one of those stick on mirrors that you see in Halfords that goes over the top of the
broken mirror. I found a pair on ebay for £2 delivered, they turned up quickly, but there is a problem.
The mirrors have been made the wrong way, they are out by 90 degrees. You know how a mirror reflects left to right normally? Well these are swapping
up and down, if I turn the mirror round a quarter of a turn they work fine, but then it won't fit in the Mondeo mirror.
You know how if you fit a bathroom cabinet on its side the image is upside down, but when its the right way up it reflects left to right, its like
that.
The e-bay seller won't refund my money, so just watch out when buying mirrors to check thi

I bet its the air in your tyres, it needs to be replaced every 10000 miles.

They will be fine just buy another pair and mount these opposite. Looking through them both will return the image to the correct orientation. The
mirrors I bought for the house several years ago also have defeats and now display a grey haired fat man instead of me.

I have a similar problem. Every time I buy a mirror on line they seem to send me one of those ones that you get at fun fairs. I've even tried
the sellers mirror site in case his primary site had been hacked.

Are you left handed? These could be left eye dominant mirrors.

Take a leaf out of most road users and just don't look in them.

All the mirrors in our house are faulty. Whenever I look in them I can only see my dad.

Read the original post several times and read it out to my partner. We have 4 degrees between us and we can't figure out what the original
poster is talking about.

Basically the mirrors are concave along the horizontal, like looking at your reflection in a spoon.
I suspect they just need flattening out.

That's because you're 86 degrees short of the problem.

No, he is correct. There is something not right with mirrors.
If you look at yourself in one, raise your right hand and your image raises its left hand so there is inversion.
Nod your head and your image does not moves its feet but its head so no inversion.
Most strange.
