Urban Exploration.
I often drive down the A1 past Harworth Colliery and noticed the conveyer had been removed from the spoil heap..
Looking for information on the place, its been in mothballs for years now but the huge concrete tower with the winder in was only built in 1989..
I came across this website, it is full of interesting photos of old places..

The sad news is UK Coal have decided theres more money in building houses than mining coal so the tower is soon to go...
Some pics here:

Love the website just had a look at some abandoned hospitals.................why are abandoned hospitals so spooky ?
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

Have a look for exploration reports and photos of NGTE Pyestock where they used to test jet engines, sadly all gone now, but an amazing place.
