Sierra XR4i

Nosing around on Autotrader looking for Sierras and found a rather optimistically priced XR4i

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201512019139052 ?postcode=so237nn&model=sierra&make=ford&radius=1501&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&page=1&search-target=usedcars&sort =default&logcode=p

I recall my parents neighbour having one of these some years ago. At the time I thought it was motoring nirvana

That does look a bit rich to me. Though in fairness. Where else would you find a low mileage, one owner, mint car?

With the prices of cosworths going through the roof, this is probably the next best thing. Would make a good doner!

I did wonder about the car as a donor, but IIRC Ford V6 engines are a little weighty.

Also just remembered that my parent's neighbours kid managed to fit a complete Feast ice cream in the radio/cassette player whilst we were on holiday. Mighty pee'd off chap when he realised the radio/cassette was done for.

Picture 4 worries me, is that the car actually running??!! Or is it just an unfortunately placed cloud of smoke?

And yes, while it might seem optimistic, it's actually reasonably tidy considering some of the others I see wanting five figures.

Now that picture serves to remind you how awful the rear windows were on it. IIRC the 3 door Cossie Sierra had single rear windows per side that looked a lot better.
