I assume it has a Jag rear axle
Can you imagine the handling of it had the standard swing axle

I would have thought the mechanicals would be worth somewhere near that?
Not sure if the car is returnable to original though, chassis would be rather heavily modded, and he tub too. Unusual bonnet, probably worth a few quid to a racer or whatever.
However the weak point looks like the cooling system, that really is going to struggle!

(and snapper, you need to get educated on the rear suspension setups, later spits are very predictable and a simple tweek to the rear spring transformed them into a much safer car. Earlier ones are fine when driven by people who understand how to drive, but deadly if you brake heavily in a corner!)
