Insurance Renewal time

Hi All,

After seeing the other post about AF and the fact that they have put my insurance up by £50! I cancelling my renewal with AF.

So, i'm after good news stories for other kit car friendly insurers, who's got the best deals at the minute

All input welcome!

Alex

I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

I've had good experience with a-plan, and met the people behind it at stoneleigh. Not had to claim, but in terms of price and customer service they've been great.

Not Footloose James, he's not insuring BECs (at all). He's also ramping up quotes, which he will reduce if you call..

AF went very silly this year, so that was it. Slicks and track only.

We have stuck with Graham Sykes for quite a few years with a variety of Jagos then Tr7 and Tr7 V8 also a Jimny for sister in law to drive when she visited - the premiums are competitive and the customer service excellent. We have on occasion had to use their break down cover and again very efficient and courteous service. You have to phone for quotes which is fair enough for kits as everyone is different.

Just renewed with 2Gether. My premium dropped £30 this year to £120 without asking, as 2Gether went with a different underwriter. Result!

Another vote for A plan, been insured with them 3 or 4 years now, just don't let them add £10 for legal cover unless you actually want it.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Just renewed with 2Gether. Wanted to get it as cheap as possible as I'm planning on selling in a few weeks.

£97 fully comp - 3k miles. Not bad given the specification.

Another vote for A-Plan. Just renewed and it was cheaper than last year. They also beat the Adrian Flux quote I got.
Friendly and helpful guys.

Just insured my Indy.

No discount, £116.10, plus 39.95 for European recovery. Nearly £100 cheaper than Adrian Flux who I already have my van with!

Oh, and I forgot to say that they sometimes have trouble with people calling the wrong number, so their kit car line is:-
