Latest project (Scimitar V8 IRS/IFSe etc) ....
... which I started collecting bits for last year is this Scimitar
which has had all its running gear removed and disposed of, to be replaced with bits and pieces from a Mazda RX8 and a Lexus
Basically, RX8 subframes and suspension (and wheels/tyres steering assembly etc) welded to Scim chassis. 1UZFE and auto box to power. As much of RX8
interior to replace manky old Scimitar interior including dash, seats etc. Also going to use Mazda ABS, aircon, wiper assemblies, airbags, whole loom
etc etc
More details and slow progress updates

Cheers

Love those cars - you don't see many around these days!
My Dad had a cream coloured one many years ago and I recall being taken on holiday in it. My two sisters and I + luggage crammed in the rear of it
If space and cash were available I'd take one on now for "modernisation" with up to date power and suspension.
Keep us posted on your progress + photos please.

My dad had one. I think he had one of all the reliant's. Never got to go in it as it was in worse state than the one above .

I always wanted to do a V8 Scimitar, are you going to try and retain the Wolfrace wheels?
