What car to replace MK Indy?
Took a deposit on my MK Indy today...very hard decision to move on & a lot of me in the car but hey, what car to buy to replace? Budget of 15-20k
( would rather closer to 15k) but would spend for the right car, car would be used for weekends/trackdays etc & would be my second car so could
consider anything really but has to be road legal been looking at Ginetta G40s maybe Elise? Any recommendations please.

I do like to look of the g40, and if you are lucky you could bag the version with the sequential box and 1.8 engine. Not the best time of year to buy
ex-race cars though, would be better at the end of the season.

Leaves budget to upgrade the engine a bit or even drop in a 2.0l lump or if needed to get it through IVA.
The Elise to go for if in budget would be the mk2 111r for me.
At the more practical end there is the z4m, cayman and 235i.
Or put most of the budget in the bank and get something like the Clio 182 cup/trophy, 90% of the fun for 30% of the budget.
Obvious choice would be a cateringvan, whatever you get you will get your money back in a few years time, r300 possibly?

I'm pretty sure you won't find a M12 for 15-20k!
What about a S1 Elise with a supercharged K20 swap, or 2.0TFSI? Although again that might be top end/over budget.

Forgot one - vx220 turbo!
Get it chipped to 240hp, should be rapid enough and pretty reliable, Elise on steroids.

If I had to replace my 7, it would be an elise that filled my garage, unless I won the lottery, then I would have an elise for fun, an e-type for
show, and a P1 for the track
so looks like ill keep my little 7 then
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

i went from a Kawasaki 1400zzr Indy to a Supercharged Vx220....
Indy was a great Track tool, point and squirt back lane racer...
but vx220 is less weather dependemt... as fast as the Indy and so much fun

My choice would be an Elise as being a bit less weather dependent, fast and fun to drive. Work colleague had one and I must say I really rather liked
it.

Elise indeed or if you maybe also consider a classic Alfa/BMW? But only if you can deal with the inevitable rust. Something close to the Alfaholics
GTA-R's can be replicated on a Giulia Saloon or even Spider platform with not too much outlay. 2002's are pretty cool to drive as well
after some "massaging".

Best fun I had on a trackday was in a saxo vts. Cos I'm not worried about the 3k rebuild of the engine or smashing it. Was amazing fun round
blyton. Don't get me wrong it wouldn't be that good on long tracks but who cares lol
I've sold my westfield and I'm getting a radical next. Preferably road legal so I can test on road but not essential. A club sport is
about my budget.

times.

I sprint my DB7, usually faster than Clio cups and it's going up in value at more than £1000 a year so pays for itself.
I have tracked it once, actually pretty good considering but to scared of getting hit so knocked that on the head.

I stand corrected. I might get one on my return from holiday until I find. My next car.
