help to buy a car in UK
Hello,
i am in Belgium and as i have done in the past, i am looking to buy a car in UK, in Coventry. ( not a kit car)
i don't know any of you personnaly, but i have had the opportunity to post on this site during the build of my cars and i also bought some items
in the for sale part of the site.
Now, as it happened many times before, the seller is quite afraid because i am not in UK.
So , is there somebody here that lives in Coventry that could help me ?
Somebody that i could give the reference to the seller ?
May be i can send a deposit to this person and this person could give it to the seller ?
I was hoping to come to Coventry this week-end to pick up the car

I'm in Northampton, about 45 minutes from Coventry. Not sure what I could do to assure the seller though?

it was a Discovery 3, really cheap.
The kind of car that only stays for sale for a few days.
I had a Discovery 2 that i sold a few weeks ago, and i am now looking to buy a Discovery 3.

I have a d3 and it's a nightmare. Lots of car for the money, but an absolute money pit.
