Tracing car owner details with partial no. plate?
Hello, is it possible to trace an owner/address from a partial number plate?
Red volvo estate reg ???? LOL
This car was spotted when the driver was stealing stuff (mostly scrap metal) from a number of properties in our village this morning. It's been
reported to the police allready. Just thought I'd ask you as you seem to be a resourceful bunch of car builders.
It's probably a false plate or stolen car anyway.
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

Yes, but only the Police can do it. (Well, the DVLA couls too, but they wouldn't give out the info to the public).
Depending on how much info you have, there may be several hits in the database. The more info, the more likely there will be only one matching
vehicle.

I doubt it'd be registered is the drivers name anyway. Around here they'd have not bothered unloading at the scrappers, just weighed the
lot in

Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.

I can do that with Renaults. As long as its been into a Renault dealer at some point in its life, I can search from a partial or full reg and find the
address and contact number for the owner. Useful if you get cut up and want to go and shiv the culprit lol.
Whether or not it is the current owner depends how long ago the car was in and the details were entered but its worth a try if you know anyone at a
Volvo dealer.
