Your thoughts please
Not a bike engine so I am totally stuffed -
My daughters Peugeot 306 HDI turbo iesel has developed a fault which has brought on the management warning light.
Had the fault read at two different garages and both said TPS so replaced it with a new item but the fault and management light persist.
Symptoms are just a complete lack of power,when you accelerate it will just slowly pick up revs. I was wondering about the Airflow meter but thought I
would see if the people on here had experience of this kind of problem.
Any opinions would be appreciated

last time i had this it was a broken map sensor (only due to transport of the engine) and MAF sensor.
Once I replaced the map sensor it was still sluggish, but improved lots when I disconnected the MAF sensor.
Then replaced it, with a new MAF, and all was good.
That said, IIRC the broken MAP sensor gave a TPS error.
Maybe a vaccum hose has come loose?

Agree with above. Disconnect the sensors in turn and give it a little drive to pin piont the problem then replace.
Mine was the MAF if I remember correctly.

Had a similar lack of power and revs due to a knackered MAF.
£260 from the rover place , £46 for the same bit from a Mercedes dealer

Blocked air filter, blocked fuel filter or the intake air hosing collapsing under vacuum - not taking the wee, I've seen the obvious missed many
a time!

Many thanks for all the suggestions - spot on with the MAF sensor - unplugged it and went like a scalded cat again so new sensor ordered up
